Digital Legacy Platform provides a secure digital vault service that allows users to store digital assets, documents, and schedule messages for future delivery. We enable users to designate trusted contacts who can access specified digital assets under predefined conditions.

3. Eligibility

To use our services, you must:

• Be at least 18 years old
• Have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts
• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials

4. Account Registration and Security

4.1 Account Creation

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to immediately notify us of any unauthorized use of your account.

4.2 Account Security

You must:

• Use strong, unique passwords
• Enable two-factor authentication when available
• Not share your login credentials with others
• Ensure your trusted contacts are legitimate and trustworthy

5. User Responsibilities

5.1 Content You Upload

You are solely responsible for:

• The accuracy and legality of information you store
• Ensuring you have rights to share any content uploaded
• Keeping your digital assets and documents up to date
• Informing your trusted contacts about their designation

5.2 Prohibited Conduct

You agree NOT to:

• Store illegal, fraudulent, or harmful content
• Use the platform for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts
• Interfere with or disrupt the platform's servers
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
• Share false or misleading information about yourself

6. Payment and Subscription Terms

6.1 Subscription Plans

We offer Free, Pro, and Family subscription plans. Features and limitations vary by plan as described on our Pricing page.

6.2 Payment Terms

For paid subscriptions:

• Fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis
• All fees are non-refundable except as stated in our refund policy
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice
• Failed payments may result in suspension of services

6.3 Cancellation and Refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time. We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee for new paid subscriptions. After 30 days, no refunds will be provided except as required by law.

7. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We implement industry-standard security measures including AES-256 encryption to protect your data. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Intellectual Property Rights

The Platform and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Digital Legacy Platform and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DIGITAL LEGACY PLATFORM SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR USE, INCURRED BY YOU OR ANY THIRD PARTY.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Digital Legacy Platform and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising out of or in connection with your use of the Platform or violation of these Terms.

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Platform immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform will immediately cease.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Bangalore, Karnataka.

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes at least 30 days before they become effective. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
